Life

Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in life. If we were allowed to go thru' life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been.

I asked for strength and I was given difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom and I was given problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity and I was given a brain and brawn to work.
I asked for courage and I was given obstacles to overcome.
I asked for love and I was given troubled people to help.
I asked for favors and I was given opportunities.

"I received nothing I wanted. But I received everything I needed.."

Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and know that you can overcome them.. Remember, God is always with us.

Who am I?

Who am I? That the Lord of all the Earth
Would care to know my name, would care to feel my hurt.
Who am I? That the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way, for my ever wandering heart.

Who am I? That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love, and watch me rise again.
Who am I? That the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain, and calm the storm in me.

Not because of who I am, but because of what You've done,
Not because of what I've done, but because of who You are.

I am a flower quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow.
A wave tossed in the ocean, a vapor in the wind.
Still You hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling.
And You've told me who I am..
I am Yours.

Living with Jesus

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagle; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. - Isaiah 40:31

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. - Isaiah 43:2

The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. - Habakkuk 3:19

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4

The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap everlasting life. - Galatians 6:8

In everything give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God. - 1 John 4:7
